Il Coronavirus sta colpendo anche l’industria televisiva: alcune serie TV hanno interrotto o rimandato la produzione. Da Grey's Anatomy a Riverdale, passando per The Morning Show e The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Sono diversi gli studios che sono rimasti coinvolti nell'emergenza.
La diffusione del Coronavirus interessa tutto il globo: l’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità ha dichiarato la pandemia e, dunque, si stanno prendendo provvedimenti anche nel resto del mondo. L’Italia è in quarantena e anche negli USA qualcosa sta iniziando a muoversi.
Tra le più importanti serie tv che hanno deciso di interrompere la lavorazione, ci sono Grey's Anatomy, NCSI, Riverdale, Carnival Row, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, The Morning Show e molte altre. Ecco la lista delle serie TV che hanno, al momento, interrotto la propria produzione.
Le interruzioni non dovrebbero essere improvvise, ma gli show in corso termineranno l’episodio corrente dove sarà possibile. A causa dei tempi, molte serie televisive stanno per concludere le proprie stagioni: è successo ad Hawaii Five-0, che ha terminato le riprese della sua ultima stagione - l'ultimo episodio andrà in onda, negli USA, il 3 aprile - per cui i fan avranno un finale adeguato.
Mentre altre serie a cui restano 1-2 episodi da girare potrebbero tornare sul set per concludere. CBS TV Studios, insieme a Paramount TV Studios e Showtime, hanno rilasciato una dichiarazione circa la crisi che il mondo sta vivendo e la loro decisione in merito: "Negli ultimi giorni, abbiamo iniziato a prendere decisioni per posticipare temporaneamente la produzione di alcuni dei nostri pilot e delle serie attuali. Al momento, stiamo valutando le situazioni caso per caso, informandoci da esperti sanitari e funzionari governativi. Alcune produzioni possono continuare, purché non coinvolgano un pubblico dal vivo e/o ambienti considerati a rischio. La sicurezza e il benessere del nostro team di produzione è la nostra massima priorità."
